Recently Ocean’s CEO Rodney Bloom traveled to Canada to meet with the Canadian team and clients. With time spent in Ottawa, Winnipeg, and Portage La Prairie, the visit was productive for all involved.
Ocean Software has been growing at a steady rate for some time, and this development has seen recent acceleration in a variety of sectors. Rodney’s visit gave him a chance to relay Ocean’s road map for the future to a broad audience that included many of the company’s long term partners. The global expansion of Ocean is being augmented with the addition of key individuals to the team, especially within growing markets. In Canada, this includes Luc Boucher, the new VP of Operations for North & South America. Internally there is a focus on innovations that will continue to position Ocean as the market leader of operations management globally.
Highlights of the visit to Canada included discussions with Major-General Christian Drouin (Commander 1 Canadian Air Division), Brigadier-General Mario Leblanc (Commander 2 Canadian Air Division), and Brigadier-General Michel Lalumière (Director-General Air Force Development at DND), as well as meetings with a variety of Ocean’s partners within Canada.
Rodney will be visiting many more Ocean clients and partners around the world before the end of 2019.
