With the update of our ISO9001 certification to ISO9001:2015, Ocean Software continues to demonstrate commitment to ensuring that our software products and services consistently meet customer requirements, and that we are continuously striving for improvement.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification scope includes design, development, delivery, deployment, cloud operations and support of software portfolios.
Certified by SAI Global after a lengthy audit process, Ocean’s team were able to effectively demonstrate the rigorous processes, documentation, and utilisation of systems that ensures continuous improvement in order to be awarded the upgrade from ISO 9001:2008.

What is ISO 9001:2015, and how is it different to ISO 9001:2008?

The ISO 9001 standard was first issued in 1987, and over the years has evolved to ensure that certified organisations adhere to the seven following principles of quality management,
  1. customer focus;
  2. leadership;
  3. engagement of people;
  4. process approach;
  5. improvement;
  6. evidence-based decision making;
  7. relationship management.
ISO 9001:2015 follows a new, higher level structure which contains 10 clauses, instead of the previous 8, which are designed to make it easier to use in conjunction with other management system standards, with increased importance given to risk management, leadership and communication awareness.
